Although Hid’n underwear is sustainably created, we are also committed to applying sustainable practices across the business. As such, we have made considerable effort to provide an eco-friendly sustainable packaging and unboxing experience.
All our packaging is FSC® Certified, 100% recyclable and compostable after use and produced in the EU:
- Mailing Boxes – made from 100% recycled brown kraft cardboard which means it is completely recyclable and compostable after use.
- Tissue Paper – made from recycled paper that is acid free. It can be recycled and fully home compostable after use, breaking down within 180 days giving nutrients back to the Earth.
- Stickers – made from 100% recycled paper. Acid free, lignin and sulphur free pulp so it can compost without leaving any residue behind
- Packaging Tape – made from water activated recycled brown gummed paper.
- Leaflets / Postcards – made from 100% recycled paper.
In addition, our printing process uses water-based ink to enhance sustainability and our packaging partners have teamed with One Tree Planted - a reforestation project that ensures more trees are planted than consumed.
